Introduction:  The Bonfadini Family Christmas display has been a traditional part of the Manassas community for over three decades.  In 2005 it returned after an 8 year pause because of family matters and continued to delight thousands of kids and adults.  Animated Christmas and cartoon characters move to the songs of Christmas making the trip to see this unique display worthwhile.  The display is dedicated to Madison Will our loving granddaughter who must watch it from God's special place in heaven. 

Display Facts:  Sixteen motors operate the moving part of the display.   The drive mechanisms are made from gears of old equipment; garage door opener, rotor tiller, record table, washing machine, manure spreader, robot drive, grinder, barbecue drives and other items.   The display uses about 80 amps of electrical current and cost about $300 to operate.   First erected in 1963 in Cannonsburg Pa.  some parts are over 40 years old.   Santa's rocket has gone up and down over two million times.  I've estimated I have over 1.5 years of my life in building, erecting, and repairing the display.  It usually takes two or three days to set up (with plenty of help) one day to take it down.   

Thank You: Many people have asked if they can contribute to the expense of the display.  This display is our way of giving back some of the many blessing we have received.  Our family has faced some challenging times because of the diseases cystic fibrosis and cancer.  Contributions to those organizations are always welcomed.
